Other Details to Note
• Exterior Cameras – For your safety, the property is equipped with three outdoor security cameras located on the deck: one facing the driveway with visibility of the garage door, one above the front door, and one above the back door. • Rural Mountain Roads – Rose Quartz is reached by rural, unpaved roads that may be uneven or bumpy year-round, followed by an uphill driveway to the cabin. Winter weather can make both the roads and driveway more challenging, and snow removal timing may vary during active storms. AWD or 4WD is required from November through April, with 4WD strongly recommended during snowy or icy conditions. Snow is also possible in October and May. • No Open Fires – Wildfire risk is taken very seriously in the Colorado mountains. Open or wood-burning fires are prohibited. Guests must follow all local fire restrictions and posted property rules. • No Air Conditioning – A/C is uncommon in mountain homes at this elevation. Ceiling fans are provided throughout the home, and opening windows during cool evenings and closing them during the warmer part of the day can help keep the cabin comfortable. • High Elevation (~9,200 ft) – Some guests may feel the effects of altitude. We recommend taking it easy when you first arrive, drinking plenty of water, and limiting alcohol while your body adjusts. • Wildlife + Open Range – Deer, elk, and other wildlife are common in the area. Cattle — and occasionally yaks — may also wander near the property. Please enjoy all animals from a safe distance and never approach or feed them. • No Third-Party Bookings – Reservations must be made by a guest who will be staying at the property. For safety and security reasons, bookings made on behalf of friends, family members, or co-workers are not permitted. • No Parties or Events – Rose Quartz is designed for peaceful stays with registered guests. Parties, events, and large gatherings are not permitted. • Rental Agreement – This listing includes a short-term rental agreement that must be reviewed and accepted within forty-eight (48) hours of booking and prior to arrival. Late check-out, unauthorized guests or visitors, indoor smoking or vaping, misuse of amenities including the hot tub, or other violations may result in additional charges as outlined in the agreement. Fire-safety rules are strictly enforced due to the area’s wildfire risk, and longer stays may occasionally require brief, scheduled maintenance access to support safe amenity operation. ⸻ PETS 🐾 We welcome well-behaved dogs who meet our pet policy. If you're considering bringing a pet, please message us before booking so we can confirm if your pup qualifies. • A pet fee helps cover the extra cleaning needed to keep the space fresh for future guests. We allow up to two dogs per stay—the fee is $165 for the first dog, with an additional $50 for the second (charged separately through the platform). ⸻ We’d love to welcome you to Rose Quartz Cabin. Whether you’re gathering with family, escaping for a quiet weekend, working remotely with a mountain view, or simply looking for room to slow down, Rose Quartz offers nearly 6 acres of privacy, wide-open scenery, and peaceful mountain living — all just a short drive from historic downtown Cripple Creek.
