House Rules

Welcome! To keep things running smoothly and preserve the peaceful mountain vibe, we kindly ask guests to follow these few key rules: 🧾 Renters must be 21+, sign a short rental agreement before check-in, and are responsible for all guests and visitors. 🚫 No parties or pets 🚧 Please help us care for the property by respecting all Septic signage. 🚬 Smoking or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the home. If smoking outside, as an extra safety precaution, please fully extinguish cigarette butts in water to prevent fire risks. Fire danger is extremely serious up here! Even a tiny ember can be devastating. 🔥 No open flames. The gas fire pit and grill are okay when no fire ban is in effect. For your convenience and safety, QR codes are provided in our digital and on-- site welcome book. These let you check the current fire danger level, bans, and restrictions. Violating fire rules may result in eviction without refund. No refunds or rate adjustments will be issued due to fire bans. 🎶 Let’s keep the mountain peace—quiet hours are 10pm to 8am, and that includes outdoor music. If things get too rowdy and law enforcement is called, guests may be asked to vacate without refund. 🚗 Please park only in the driveway. ❄️ 4WD or AWD is required October through May. We do not offer refunds for weather-related delays or cancellations, so please plan ahead. 🐻 Trash left outside can attract bears, and sadly, that often kills bears. Help us keep our wildlife wild and safe by always securing waste.

Best. Vacation. Ever. From beginning to end a delightful place to stay. Clean, well maintained and comfortable. The photos don't do the place justice! I appreciated all the information and proactive communication. I had the answers before I knew the questions! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed being there and everyone already wants to come back!

This cabin was stunning! The place was perfect for a couples trip. We had so much fun using the pool table and grilling. The place was spotless and everything we needed to cook was provided. I really loved that each floor had a bedroom and each bedroom had their own restroom either inside the room or across the hall from them. The guidebook was extremely helpful. I’m definitely coming back for another stay. You can’t beat the peace and quiet this place offers. Absolutely beautiful and worth every penny.

Our stay at Jennifer’s home was perfect. Her home is in an AMAZING location in the mountains. The directions to get to the home were exact and very easy to follow. After getting to the home, we were even more excited about our stay and we knew we had chosen the right place to spend our time away from our own home. Jennifer’s home is beautiful and there was nothing that we needed - her home has it all. She was the ultimate in hosting…checking to see if there was anything we needed or that she could do for us. She sent us information about the CrippleCreek Donkey Days that we did not know was happening while we were staying at her home, and she kept us informed about the area and things to see and do. We will stay in Jennifer’s home in a heartbeat if we are ever in the area again! Thank you Jennifer for making our vacation that much more perfect!❤️

What a beautiful home tucked away in a quiet peaceful mountain neighborhood. If you are looking to get away but don’t want to be too far from everything, I highly recommend this place. About an hour from Manitou Springs and 20 minutes from Cripple Creek’s casino’s. Will definitely book here again when we return to the area.

the cabin is beautiful, clean and modern. we did not have a celphone service in the area but they have a fast internet. they also have smart TVs... everything is great and the views is magical. i had a mountain sickness from the whole time i was there because of the high elevation, but the rest of the family is fine.

There are too many amazing things to say about our stay to fit them all in this review. Jennifer’s directions for finding the cabin were spot on. She had some yummy snacks waiting for us upon our arrival, which was much appreciated after a 12-hour drive. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and stocked with what we needed. The views from the lower and upper balconies were breathtaking. Watching the sun rise and set over Pikes Peak is an experience everyone should have. There was comfy patio furniture with a nice outdoor propane fire pit to keep us toasty after the sun set. My husband and I had a great time playing pool in the basement. Jennifer was quickly responsive to any questions we had during our stay. We loved watching the prairie dogs play in the field on the way up to the cabin. There is a grocery market just a few miles away, and Cripple Creek had some great restaurants too. I highly recommend staying at Jennifer’s cabin and look forward to staying here again in the future!

This place was spectacular! The views were phenomenal and it was so peaceful. The beds were comfortable and it was nice that all rooms had a tv. The game room was an added bonus with the pool table. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved this cabin, it was beyond what we were expecting. It was quite a drive but the peacefulness and the surrounded by nature was totally worth it! The cabin was huge and clean, it had everything we needed. Did not have to message Jennifer for anything as it was equipped with everything we needed and more, but she made sure to message us and check in to see if everything was okay and if we needed anything. The views from the rooms were just amazing. Definitely one of my favorite places to have stayed in and will definitely be coming back to stay here!
